Place du Tertre: the Montmartre of Twente

A special year with a special French theme! Indeed, this year we are celebrating our 40th anniversary, looking back at the origins and beginnings of Kunst in Ootmarsum. In 1983, the first French market was organised on the lawn of the church square, completely inspired by Montmartre. Since then, Kunst in Ootmarsum has grown into one of the largest open-air exhibitions of its kind in the Netherlands.
